About transfer of remainsAreas We Serve · Barangay Mabuhay
Barangay Mabuhay is one of the communities we serve most often. From Sitio Intake and Klinan 5 to Cuyos Subdivision, Mabuhay families call Libintia Caja when they lose someone they love, and many are members of our Love Your Neighbor Program.
Funeral Care in Mabuhay
Like many families in General Santos, households in Mabuhay often hold the wake (lamay) at home, surrounded by neighbors from the purok. We make that possible. Our team brings your loved one into our care, prepares them with gentleness, and brings them home with everything needed for a dignified vigil.

For DSWD and city burial assistance, a certificate of indigency from the Barangay Mabuhay hall is often requested. Get it early, while we prepare the statement of account.
Residents of General Santos can ask the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) about burial assistance. Bring the death certificate, our statement of account and a valid ID.
Funeral assistanceMabuhay is within General Santos City, so there is no outside-city charge. Plan members pay only the regular interment fee upon pick-up or delivery.
Love Your Neighbor Program
Mabuhay has one of our largest member communities outside Apopong. Members make a small contribution each time a fellow member or beneficiary passes away, with a smaller share for each of their beneficiaries, and receive a complete funeral service package.
When a member passes away, the family pays only the interment fee. Up to three beneficiaries are covered under one member.
